I live in East Tennessee in beau­ti­ful Blount County. 60, married with one adult son. My morning commute is a 450 foot walk, coffee in hand, from my back door to the door of my shop. I built this shop in 1997, it’s a straw bale struc­ture and I must say a very comfort­able space to work in. I’ve been making my living doing this since I moved here in 1980 from Michi­gan. I strive to build furni­ture that is good enough, beau­ti­ful enough that it will retain value for gener­a­tions.
