Hello! My name is Porter, I am currently a student at Vermont Woodworking School finishing my last semester. After receiving my BFA with a concentration in ceramics, the job hunt was hard and not very welcoming due to the start of the pandemic. I decided to get into a trade and then started to discover the world of fine woodworking. VWS has showed me my love for wood as a medium and I’m excited to mend wood and clay in my future works.
