My fine furniture and jewelry are inspired by the organic shapes and natural beauty of North Haven, the Maine island I call home. The curve of a sea bird’s wing, crest of a wave, or slope of a distant mountain are reflected in the pieces I craft. They are intended to serve as both a focal point and a functional part of someone’s home.
Each piece is constructed with traditional and contemporary joinery methods and fine tuned with chisels and hand planes. I use sustainably harvested wood and finishes derived from natural oils and waxes in all of my work. As I continuously learn new techniques and find new inspiration in my surroundings, my work evolves and progresses while maintaining my core values of well-crafted, functional and beautiful pieces that will last.

Flame Birch / 2020 34"H × 40"W × 15"DThe ornate and delicate vines climb up and cascade across the flame birch top. Highly figured flame birch. Cascading top united with corner splines. The base is secured to the ornate split top via mortise and and tenons, demonstrating perfection of design.
